Join us on a tour of the beautiful London ‘village’ of Highgate – an area that sits high on a hill overlooking the city and is full of history, spectacular views, great stories and brilliant pubs. You can’t ask for much more than that!
Our guided walk lasts for approximately 90 minutes and along the way we’ll find out where Hitler’s brother (briefly) lived with his wife and son William Hitler. We’ll find out what Robert the Bruce was doing in Highgate, we’ll see where Francis Bacon made an ill-fated attempt to freeze a chicken, where Poet Laureate John Betjeman went to school and visit the shrine to singer George Michael.
